A Seed of Hope

曾今有个对话发生在一个哲人和一个普通人之间，

普通人问哲人，人生到了最后，什么东西是最珍贵的，

哲人告诉他，是人与人的关系, 拿个英语单词来替换，就是bond。

我记性一直不好，过目就忘，但是这句话就是能留在我心头。

我后来经常会想，这个哲人到底说得对不对，该用什么例子来证明才足以让人信服。

 

To me, bond is a thing that can be felt with no doubt even when that certain person is absent and long unreachable;

and bond is also a thing that won't be unfelt when broke without agony, remorse, or abiding remembrance;

and bond is still a thing that we surly have, some or a few, yet never in abundance.

 

在电影《阿甘正传》里有一句脍炙人口的关于巧克力的名言。在没看过电影之前，我听说了这句话，觉得简直是太平庸不过了，

后来看了电影才发现，深刻的道理就是可以讲的这样的简单和显露无疑。

但是就像我要看过这部电影才可能明白这句话，简单的道理或许还是得靠复杂的经历来传达。

Forest和Jenny之间的那种情感和经历就是我想要表达的bond。

 

哲人说人与人的关系最重要，但是却没说怎么才能让人们意识到这点。

或许是哲人已经意识到人们根本就不可能时时刻刻都意识到这一点。
因为不管是身内的还是身外的世界都很复杂，所以不可能让一个人永远都仅限于执着在一个点上。

 

可是，当我们拥有美貌的时候，能不能确信当自己容颜老去以后，心爱的人还能相敬如宾。

当我们拥有财富的时候，能不能确信当自己千金散去以后，心爱的人还愿患难与共。

当我们拥有成功的时候，能不能确信当自己变得庸庸碌碌以后，心爱的人还会相濡以沫。

 

The thing that I desire and fear to know most is that if it is the bond that's between her and me.

 

夫君子之行，静以修身，俭以养德。非淡泊无以明志，非宁静无以致远。

夫学须静也，才须学也。非学无以广才，非志无以成学。

淫慢则不能励精，险躁则不能冶性。

年与时驰，意与日去，遂成枯落，多不接世，悲守穷庐，将复何及！

 

熟稔于心

We are not the same persons this year as last; nor are those we love.

很久以前的一天，我有些失落，

你和我说王子和公主最终会在一起。

这是一句你在不经意间说出的真心话，

我很开心地把它给记住了。

可是后来你再也没有重复过这句话，

它还是真心的吗？

当然是！因为只有真心的东西才会令人喜悦。

 

再后来，可能因为我很久没有听到同样的话就好伤心了。真的好伤心。

我好想能再听到类似的真心话从你的口中说出，

可是真心的东西好像是短暂的，

所以你忘记了。

我能因此而责备你吗？

当然不可以！因为那会是忘恩负义的。

 

结果你祝我幸福，

我又一次地感受到了震颤，和以前的感受一样。

我想，虽然不是现在，但是你的真心的祝福会在以后实现的吧。

我也真心地祝你幸福，这个祝福也会实现的。因为心愿都是成双结对的。

 

可是我现在还是有些伤心。

真的。
